We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of HEAD OF BUSINESS SCHOOL (ZC/HR/02/14/HBA/01).

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Head of School will be in charge of the department. Among other duties, he/she will be responsible for:
• Ensuring quality training by seeing to it that there is timely syllabi coverage, class attendance, standardized student evaluation, effective classroom delivery, effective timetabling and efficient record keeping;
• People leadership and management (both student and staff);
• Conducting regular departmental meetings and providing formal minutes of these meetings;
• Strategic departmental management and growth;
• Coordinating department curriculum review, revision, and/or development;
• Custody and management of departmental facilities.

The desired candidate must :
• Have a minimum of Bachelor degree in an business or related area;
• Have at least 1 year teaching experience in a tertiary institution: previous experience in a leadership position will be of added advantage;
• Be up to date with current trends in tertiary training, especially in the business field;
• Have excellent management, leadership and communication skills;
• Be able to work under minimum supervision;
• Have excellent verbal, written communication, and high moral ethics;
